A Yosemite hiking and off-trail backpacking
adventure to the summit of spectacular Mt Conness - one of
the most sought after summits in Yosemite National Park.
We meet and spend the night in spectacular Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite
National Park and hike North to the scenic Young Lakes near
the base of Mount Conness. From Young Lakes we summit Mt.
Conness via the standard off-trail route involving steep hiking
with some exposure.
Climbing Mount Conness involves basic off-trail hiking skills
and is a perfect adventure for those with just a little backpacking
or hiking experience. Along the way we enjoy good food, good camaraderie
and stellar views. A fun and rewarding Yosemite backcountry
adventure.
