Travel Directions To Lodgepole

From North bound and South bound Hwy 99:
Take Hwy 99 to Visalia and head East on Hwy 198 past the town of Three Rivers. Follow 198 to the park entrance. The lodgepole visitor center is about an hours drive from the park entrance and is clearly marked. Three Rivers is about an hour from the Lodgepole trailhead

Modern, year round accomodations only minutes from the Lodgepole trailhead. Ameneties include first class accomodations and a restraunt/bar

Just outside Sequoia National Park in Three Rivers:

Buckeye Tree Lodge
Located just 1/4 mile from the park entrance, this is probably the best choice in the Three Rivers area. All rooms are on the banks of the Kaweah River. A great location.

Gateway Lodge
Another good choice in Three Rivers. There are river views and dining on site.

Camping in Sequoia National Park


Winter Camping Options:
Lodgepole Campground

Winter camping right next to our winter meeting spot. You can pitch a tent or sleep in your car for $10/night. Restrooms are available.

Other Resources

Groceries
The best options for groceries and food shopping is in the small city of Visalia, just off Hwy 99 on your way into the park. There are also small stores in the town of Three Rivers.
