International Climbs, Treks & Ski Mountaineering

International Alpine Guides provides mountaineering, alpine climbing, ski mountaineering and trekking expeditions around the world that are designed to show you the finest international mountain experience possible. We are a small, highly-experienced international guiding company that runs quality trips to select areas of the world. When you contact us you are contacting the owner or another guide, not just someone in a large office. We don't have a large office staff and we don't run large groups. We can, however, assure you of a top quality international mountain experience through our training, professionalism and good nature.

Why go with International Alpine Guides?

  • IFMGA/UIAGM certified American mountain guides, the highest certification in the world
  • We use private in-country transportation and local logistics companies when needed
  • Small group sizes and personal attention, no more than six to eight climbers, trekkers or skiers
  • Low climbing ratios, usually no more than two to three climbers to one guide

"Come join me on an international climbing, trekking or skiing trip of a lifetime.
I look foward to sharing with you the
alpine realms of the world"
Dave Miller, IAG owner and IFMGA/UIAGM internationally licensed guide

  • French & Swiss Alps - Mont Blanc, The Matterhorn & The Eiger / The Haute Route
  • Mexico Volcanoes
  • South America - Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru & Argentina

Cliimbing, skiing or trekking internationally with an experienced and highly-trained and certified American mountain guide can greatly add to the enjoyment and safety of your experience. Traveling with a native english-speaking guide who undertands you and your culture is important to your enjoyment. We use the perfect combination of American guides and local logistics companies.

Many of our international trips are also skills based. In other words, we are teachers also and rather than just take you up and down the mountains we hope to leave you with some further knowledge of mountaineering to take with you on your own adventures.
