International Climbs & Expeditions

Our international division, International Alpine Guides, provides mountain climbing and rock climbing expeditions designed to show you the finest international mountaineering experience possible. We can assure you of a top quality experience through our experience, training and professionalism.

Why go with International Alpine Guides?

  • IFMGA/UIAGM certified American mountain guides, the highest certification in the world
  • We use private in-country transportation and local logistics companies
  • Small group sizes, no more than six climbers
  • Low ratios, no more than 3 climbers to one guide
  • Flexible itineraries

Climbing internationally with an experienced and highly-trained American mountain guide can greatly add to the enjoyment and safety of your experience. In many countries, local guides do not have nearly the same training and safety standards as certified American guides, especially when it comes to acclimatization. And traveling with a guide who undertands you and your culture is important to your enjoyment. We use the perfect combination of American guides and local logistics companies.

Whenever possible we provide private in-country transportation to ease the movement of gear and people. Our accommodation choices are among the best available with your comfort and enjoyment in mind and our American mountain guides are well versed in the particulars of each country.
